UCC to Host Open House Aug. 26

MACOMB, IL - - The new school year is rapidly approaching! The Íæż½ã½ã Counseling Center (UCC) will host a UCC Open House from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in its new space on the second floor of the Beu Health Center.
The goal of the open house is to allow students, faculty and staff to visit and view the new space. They moved just after finals week, so this will be a change for students. There will be cookies and lemonade.
The event will provide information on services available at the University through the counseling center and answer any questions students, faculty or staff may have.
The UCC provides free counseling services to currently enrolled WIU students, including Tele-Mental Health Counseling. Call (309) 298-2453 to schedule an appointment.
The UCC also offers outreach services, presenting on mental health topics to students, addressing various coping skills. Students also have access to 24/7 Help Now telephone services by calling the UCC office number.
